The 3rd Thursday of Each Month
The Polk County Purchasing Division is now offering a FREE "HOW TO DO BUSINESS WITH POLK COUNTY" training session to all interested vendors. This training explains the bidding process from start to finish and is offered on the 3rd Thursday of each month. What we do
The Office of Supplier Diversity is responsible for working with County agencies and Women and Minority Business community of Polk County in the following capacities:
ADVOCACY - To serve as an advocate for County agencies and the Women and Minority Business Community of Polk County for business throughout the Board of County Commissioners.
COMPLIANCE - To work as a compliance institution to insure the utilization of Women and Minority Vendors in contracting with the Board of County Commissioners..
OUTREACH - To serve as an outreach facilitator to educate and inform our WMBE's of class and opportunities that will help to grow their businesses.
We work to educate and inform our WMBE's of classes and opportunties. |

| Steps to Doing Business with Polk County's OSD |
- Become certified with the State of Florida's Office of Supplier Diversity (click here).
- Register with Polk County's Office of Supplier Diversity by completing a vendor application.
- Attend our seminars and meetings listed on our Calendar of Events.
