The UTILITIES DEPARTMENT consists of the Customer Service, Operations, Capital Projects, and Technical Services Divisions.
Polk County Utilities provides quality water and wastewater services for its customers to sustain and protect public health and land development in rural and suburban areas of the county.
Utilities provides water, wastewater, and reclaimed water services to over 56,000 households and commercial customers. The goal of Utilities is to provide safe, reliable, and satisfactory water, wastewater, and reclaimed water service to existing and future customers at reasonable rates.
The Department operates and maintains 45 water plants, 11 wastewater plants, over 290 wastewater lift stations and water pumping stations, and approximately 1100 miles of distribution and collection pipelines.
Utility payments can be paid at the administration office located at 1011 Jim Keene Boulevard off SR 540, west of Winter Haven. For our customers' convenience, payments can also be made at either of three satellite offices located at: , 940 East Parker St. , Lakeland, 330 West Church Street, Neil Combee Administration Building, Bartow, and our new office located at 45701 US Hwy 27, Ridgeview Center, Unit #6, Davenport.
