Facilities Management goes Electronic!

In order to enhance our customer Service capability, we're now offering another way to reach us. We are pleased to announce that we now have two e-mail addresses to report any routine maintenance or repair needs you may have. Staff that will in downtown Bartow buildings (Courthouse Building-ID #01400, Administration Building-#01500, Tax Collector-#01000, Historical Library-#00100, Supervisor of Election-#00600, Sheriff's Operation Center-#00200, Sheriff's Human Resources-#99885 and Property & Evidence-#99895, Bartow Multipurpose Center-#30300, Communication Repair-#80100, Leisure Services Administration-#01300, Property Appraiser-#00500, Internal Audit-#00900, Fleet Lane Building-#77778, and Economic Development-#96900) have been e-mailing CourthouseMaintenance@polk-county.net for a couple of years. We actually have an office in the Courthouse to support our downtown Bartow crew.

For those of you who work in the rest of the County, including East Bartow, we have a new e-mail address called Facilities Help Desk-Countywide. If you are authorized to report maintenance or repair requests, you can reach us at FacilitiesHelpDesk@polk-county.net.

When reporting your problem, please include the following information: contact name and phone number, building ID number (if you don't know it, we may have to call you to find out just where you are located) and description and location of the problem (room numbers are really helpful if you have them). The more you can tell us about the problem, the easier it will be to ensure that your maintenance needs are resolved.

As always, if your problem is more urgen, such as gushing pipe, no power, broken window, etc., please use thsoe same phone numbers to report he emergency. We are her to take calls from 6:30 am till 5:30 pm Monday thru Friday. If you need urgent help at other times, please contact Comm. C at 534-0360, so they can contact our stanbystaff.

If you wish to request non-routine maintenance (painting, adding/removing cabinetry, etc.), please prepare a Request for Service Form.
