| To complete the Polk County Application for
Employment Online, you will need to select a job listing contained within the categories listed below. Once you find a position click the link for details regarding the job. If you wish to apply simply click on the Apply Online link to apply for the position. The job order number and position title will automatically be added to the job application to get you started. You will need to register for the job application system if it is your first time applying for a position at the County or if you applied for a position before Nov 1, 2006.
Certain positions below use a separate application process hosted by our partner iplacement, these positions are handled through iplacement's online application which is hosted on their site @ www.polk-county-jobs.com You will be notified in the job description if it is an iplacement position.

Polk County Board of County Commissioners implemented a new online employment application on Nov 1, 2006. The new system was created in an effort to streamline our application process, as part of that process we no longer offer pdf versions of the job application for download. Intern and volunteer applications are still processed through the online forms interface and can be reached at the links provided below.
