CCNA - Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act

The Polk County Purchasing Division has established procedures to ensure the County's compliance with Florida Statutes 287.055 by which architects, professional engineers, landscape architects and surveyors are selected for jobs with the County. Any firm or individual interested in providing these professional services to the Board of County Commissioners must first be certified as qualified. Firms shall submit the following:

  1. A completed Vendor Application
  2. Copy of firm's professional license to practice their profession in the State of Florida.
  3. If the firm is a corporation, it must be properly chartered with the Florida Department of State and a copy of such must be provided.
  4. Standard Form 330 for the firm.
  5. A copy of the firm's Equal Employment Opportunity Plan
All of the above shall be submitted to:
