A Guide to Purchasing Policies and Procedures

What We Do
The Purchasing Division is responsible for all procurement for the Board of County Commissioners. This includes products, services, construction contracting and the selection and contracting fro architects, engineers, land surveyors and landscape architects. The division also handles the review and processing of payment applications for professional and construction contracts. A continuing effort is made to increase the participation of Women and Minority owned businesses in the procurement process. Services and opportunities to do business with Polk County are continually being updated on this website.

The office of the Purchasing Division is located in Bartow, Florida at 2470 Clower Lane. The phone number is (863) 534-5610. The Director is Buddy Storey.
