Roadway Maintenance Division
Quick Notes

The Roadway Maintenance Division coordinates and supervises the maintenance of 2,500 miles of county roads. The work is accomplished by six maintenance units, each responsible for a specific area of the county. The division also coordinates maintenance for bridges and road drainage systems throughout the county road network.

This division also oversees the Litter Hotline - a number established so that citizens can report litter on county rights-of-way. County personnel are available during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, to answer the hotline (a message can be left after hours). The number to call is 863-534-0282. If Bartow is long distance, citizens can call 1-877-891-6430.

Our Mission
The Roadway Maintenance Division maintains the roadways and rights of way of the county roads to provide safe and smooth driving conditions for the citizens and visitors who use county roads.
