Polk County has established procedures to ensure the County's compliance with Florida Statutes 287.055 by which architects, professional engineers, landscape architects and professional surveyors and mappers are selected for jobs with the County.  Any firm or individual interested in providing these professional services to the Board of County Commissioners must first be certified as qualified.

Professional firms should visit the Vendor Registration page of this website to electronically register.

Additionally, firms must submit the following:

1. Copy of firm's professional license to practice their profession in the State of Florida.
2. If the firm is a corporation, it must be properly chartered with the Florida Department of State and a copy of such must be provided.
3. Standard Form 330 for the firm (pages 1 and 6 only).
4. A copy of the firm's Equal Employment Opportunity Plan (for firms with more than 15 employees).
