ANNOUNCMENT - EPLAN UPGRADE  - GO LIVE DATE TUESDAY, APRIL 23, 2013 - FOR BUILDING DIVISION CUSTOMERS ONLY

Building Permitting Customers utilizing ePlan to have construction plans reviewed will need to download the NEW Buildng Customer ePlan User Guide 8.1.  This is the only workflow at this time that has been upgraded.  Other workflows including the Level 2 review done by the Land Development Division will be coming soon.   


 STEP 1:    To use ePlan you must first fill out and submit a Project or Permit Application. Be sure to read submittal instructions for each type of application as most can be submitted via email and or fax.

 

 

Building Structure Trades Permit Application (Building Division Customers)

Level 2 Development Review Application  (Land Development Division Customers)

Level 4 Amendment Application (Land Development Division Customers)


 

STEP 2:     Decide which Signature method will be used on plan sheets.

a.    Digital Signature - If you plan on uploading digitally signed/sealed drawings or plans, please register your digital signature with the County by filling out the Digital Signature Affidavit form below before uploading digitally signed plans into ePlan.  This form will link your wet or raised seal to your digital signature.  As with paper plans, each plan sheet must be digitally signed. (This option only available to Building Division Permitting customers at this time.)

b.     Hard Copy Wet/Raised Seal and Signature – If you choose to print, sign and seal final approved plan sheets, each sheet must contain the Approved Sheet logo affixed during the ePlan approval process.  Each sheet must also contain an original Engineer/Architect signature and seal.  Copies of signatures and seals on final sets are not acceptable. Hard copies of plans containing original signatures and seals must be submitted to the County for final sign off and approval by staff.

NOTE: EPLAN IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH GOOGLE CHROME INTERNET BROWSER. 


STEP 4:    Before attempting to use ePlan for the first time, please read the corresponding User Guide (below) in its entirety before attempting to upload files into ePlan.
