    Bartow, Fla. (Oct. 4, 2017) — Polk County will open three sites Friday where residents can drop off vegetative debris from Hurricane Irma.

    The sites will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Monday and will be at:

  • FEMA’s Disaster Recovery Center Extends Hours

    Bartow, Fla. (Sept. 28, 2017) — Due to high demand, FEMA’s Mobile Disaster Recovery Center will indefinitely extend its hours of operation in Bartow to assist Polk County residents whose homes and businesses were damaged by Hurricane Irma.

  • Recyclable Material Roll Carts Rolling Out in November

    BARTOW, Fla. (Oct. 2, 2017) – Recycling roll carts are coming sooner than expected for Polk County residents who requested them.
