15th Annual Festival of Wreaths

Herald the arrival of the holiday season at the Polk County History Center with the 15th Annual Festival of Wreaths and Silent Auction. The wreaths will be on display from Nov. 8 until Dec. 12, when winning bidders begin picking up wreaths to decorate their homes.

Bid on festive wreaths that were decorated by individual Polk residents, organizations and businesses. Find that special wreath to bring home and add to your own holiday decor. The auction begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, and ends at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11.

Merry and Bright Wreath Tours

Celebrate the spirit of the season with a specially curated tour of the Festival of Wreaths at the History Center. This jolly, guided tour explores the wreath designs, their unique meanings and the organizations or individuals they represent.

• 11 a.m. on Nov. 26
• 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Nov. 29

Selfies con Papá Noel (reserva obligatoria)

Santa Claus and his elves will be returning to his study at the History Center for Selfies with Santa. Reservations are required.

Jingle and Mingle at the History Center on Dec. 13

Join us in celebrating the joys of the season through song. Snag a cookie and a seat while you enjoy special carol performances by the Frostproof High School Chorus at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and the Berkley Charter Elementary School Chorus at noon.
