Do you have household hazardous waste products and electronics you need to dispose of?
Polk County Waste & Recycling is hosting a disposal event on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Chain-O-Lakes Complex in Winter Haven located at 210 Cypress Gardens Blvd.
Acceptable materials will include, but are not limited to:
- Auto and Boat Batteries
- Household Batteries
- Fuel and Gas Cylinders
- Filters, Used Oil and Antifreeze
- Pesticides
- Mercury and Fluorescent Lights
- Flares
- Paint
- Used Cooking Oil
Tires will also be collected (up to five per vehicle).
