Webinar on Polk County Invasive Amphibians
July 15, 2020
12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
UF/IFAS Extension Polk County’s Natural Resources and Conservation program will host a webinar training on Polk County’s Invasive Amphibians. In Polk County, FL, only two species of amphibians are considered “invasive.” Those species are the cane toad (also known locally as the Bufo toad) and the Cuban treefrog which are both locally abundant in areas of Polk County.
This webinar is designed for adult learners, but the material should be okay for youth learners if a parent or guardian participates with them. This webinar will discuss euthanasia in a respectful manner; however the topic may not be appropriate for all youth. Parents and Guardians should use their best judgement on the matter.
Registration is required and space is limited. The cost for this webinar is $5. Register online at https://invasiveamphibianspolkfl.eventbrite.com
