A public meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025, at the Polk Street Community Center, 1255 Polk Street, Bartow, Florida, 33830. The meeting will discuss programs funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
These programs support the goals of providing a suitable living environment, decent housing, and expanding economic opportunities for low- and moderate-income persons. HUD regulations require Polk County to prepare an annual 2025-2026 One Year Action Plan describing how this year’s expected funding will be used to further the goals of the Five-Year Consolidated Plan.
