Impact Fees Rate Schedules

Following decisions by the Polk County Board of County Commissioners and the Polk County School Board, the county’s impact fees changed in 2016 and will change again in 2017.

On March 17, 2017, impact fees rates are increasing. To qualify for the current fee rate, customers must submit their building permit application on or before March 16. But that isn’t all. Customers must also receive their building permits within six months of submitting the application and receive a certificate of occupancy within two years of the permit being issued.
