Bartow, Fla. (October 22, 2021) — Construction of a residential subdivision will close Lake Ariana Boulevard in Auburndale for six days starting Monday, Oct. 25 for the installation of a drainage outfall and utility connections servicing the new homesites. Lake Ariana Boulevard will be closed between Paradise Lane at the Ariana Shores community and Pontiac Street along the north shore of Lake Ariana.

Depending on destination and direction of travel, through traffic will be detoured at Berkley Road or County Road 559 (Polk City Road) and redirected to Gapway Road to bypass the work zone. Detour could be lengthy for some commuters. Motorists are advised to drive carefully and add extra time to trips through this area.
