Update: Bartow, Fla. (Aug. 1, 2025) — Polk County Utilities is issuing a discontinuation of the precautionary boil water notice issued on July 30, 2025, for Redbridge Loop in the Providence subdivision in Davenport, FL.
Bacteriological water samples collected from this area are free of contamination. The water supply for customers in this area has been completely cleared for use.

Bartow, Fla. (July 30, 2025) — Polk County Utilities is issuing a precautionary boil water notice for customers on Redbridge Loop in the Providence subdivision in Davenport, FL. This is in response to damage to an 8-inch water main caused by inclement weather.
All water users in the specified area are advised drink bottled water and/or boil water to a rolling boil for at least one minute for cooking and drinking.
This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until ongoing water sampling analysis has been completed. Polk County Utilities will issue notice rescinding this precautionary measure once satisfactory results have been confirmed (normally after 48 hours).
