Bartow, Fla. (Nov. 15, 2025) – A Polk Regional Water Cooperative project will require a portion of Mammoth Grove Road in Lake Wales to close beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 17, while a water transmission main is installed.
Mammoth Grove Road at Camp Mack Road to Cypress Lake Road will close to through traffic. The roadway is expected to reopen on Saturday, Nov. 22.
Detour:
From Cypress Lake Road, traffic will detour south on Mammoth Grove Road, then west on Lake Park Road, then south to Alcoma Road, then west on U.S. Highway 60, and finally north on Stokes Road to Mammoth Grove Road.
