Polk County Waste & Recycling Thanksgiving Day Closure and Collection Schedule 2022

Bartow, Fla. (November 21, 2022) –The North Central Landfill will be closed on Thursday, November 24 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. The landfill will re-open Friday, November 25.
Residential curbside collection services will be delayed one day. Collection services scheduled for Thursday, November 24, will take place on Friday. Friday services will take place on Saturday. They will be resuming regularly scheduled collections on November 28.
