Bartow, Fla. (Nov. 13, 2025) – A portion of Lake Lowery Road will be closed at 8 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 17 for stormwater and utility pipe installation.
A half-mile stretch of Lake Lowery Road north of Old Haines City Lake Alfred Road and the Lake Lowery Road intersection in Lake Alfred will be closed until installations are completed. The roadway is expected to reopen at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21.
The contractor will maintain access to residents and businesses along the closure route at all times.
Traffic on Old Haines City Lake Alfred Road will be re-routed west to Experiment Station Road.
Residents are asked to plan alternative routes as needed.
