Potable Water Line Leak Slows Traffic in Davenport

Bartow, Fla. (June 25, 2025) — Polk County Utilities staff are investigating a potable water line leak at the intersection of Ronald Reagan Parkway/County Road 54 and Pine Tree Trail in Davenport. A portion of Ronald Reagan Parkway is currently consolidated to one lane to accommodate for excavation and repairs.

Customers will not experience a water service interruption with the exception of the 7-Eleven convenience store at the intersection.

Updates will be provided as progress on the work continues.

Update (June 26, 2025) — The potable water line leak at the intersection of Ronald Reagan Parkway and Pine Tree Trail has been repaired. Crews are now working to repair the sidewalk and restore the area.

Update (June 27, 2025) — Repairs to the potable water line are complete. All lanes of Ronald Reagan Parkway and Pine Tree Trail have reopened.
