Bartow, Fla. (June 20, 2019) — Beginning Monday, July 1, 2019 media trucks and vehicles will no longer be allowed to park in the driveway along the northwest side of the County Administration Building in Bartow. This practice has created a life safety issue, with pedestrian safety in our parking lot being our highest concern.

A parking lane for production trucks and media vehicles has been created for you on the east side of the Administration Building in the driveway near the parking garage. This media parking lane will be striped where parking is allowed, as we must also keep space available for life-safety vehicles.

Parking in the media lane is on a first come basis. Once the media lane is full, you must park in either the Boulevard Avenue lot north of the Admin Building, or the Mill Street lot west of the building and across the street.

Be advised that parking adjacent to the Administration Building will not be allowed; reporters and film crews will be requested to move their vehicles.

Thank you in advance for your help in improving pedestrian safety on our campus. If you have questions, please contact Mianne Nelson at or (863) 232.6653.
