The Polk County Legislative Delegation will hold their annual public meeting at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, in the Commissioner’s Boardroom at the Polk County Government Administration Building located at 330 W. Church Street, Bartow, Florida, 33830.
The meeting is an opportunity for residents, elected officials, cities and local governments and other civic organizations to address the delegation before the start of the 2026 Legislative Session. Individuals wishing to address the delegation may request to be placed on the agenda, by submitting the presentation request form by Friday, Aug. 1.
Individuals who would like to speak during the meeting may also complete a speaker’s form in person on Aug. 12. Those who fill out speaker forms at the meeting will be afforded time to speak in the order in which requests are received, up to 5 p.m. If individuals do not send information ahead of time, please bring eight copies of all handouts to the meeting for distribution. Spaces are filled on a first-come, first served basis and have a speaking timeslot of 3 minutes per speaker.
