The Polk County Office of Planning and Development makes sure growth and community development doesn’t get out of control. Through the different divisions, this office of the county maintains orderly development by maintaining, enforcing and updating the land development regulations and construction codes.
Whether you want to develop a large tract of land for a major commercial space, a small piece of property for your business, or if you’re looking to build a new subdivision of any size, you will find that information here.
The regulations and codes can be viewed on the Land Development page.
