Polk County Attorney Randy Mink has served the Polk County Board of County Commissioners since 2006. Mink graduated from the University of South Florida in 2001 and received his Juris Doctorate in 2006 from Stetson University College of Law.
The county attorney is appointed by the Polk County Commissioners and is responsible for providing timely legal advice to the Board, county division personnel and other constitutional officers on an as-needed basis. He often advises the commissioners during public hearings.
