This 225-acre property was acquired to help protect the headwaters of Lake Marion Creek. Walking trails take you over white sugar sand scrub before transitioning to moss-covered ground. Lake Marion Creek/Stokes is home to more than 70 species of birds, including ospreys, kingfishers and white egrets, as well as deer, turkey, fox, reptiles and feral hogs. There’s a picnic shelter and views of Lake Marion Creek at the end of the trail.
