Bartow, Fla. (Oct. 7, 2024) — County Manager Bill Beasley has announced that all Polk County Government offices will be closed to the public for non-essential business on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 9 and 10 in response to Hurricane Milton.
Residents are urged to continue to follow local news media, the county’s website at www.polk-county.net and social media for updated information.
