4-H Nature Explorers Camp

Calling all parents of young adventurers aged 9-12 years old! Are you looking for an exciting and educational opportunity for your child to explore the wonders of nature? Look no further. UF/IFAS Extension Polk County and Polk County 4-H is excited to announce our Nature Explorers Summer Camp at Circle B Bar Reserve from July 9 to 12.

This four-day program is designed to engage and inspire budding environmentalists as they journey through Polk County’s breathtaking landscape at Circle B Bar Reserve. From discovering the importance of natural resources and conservation efforts to getting hands-on with botany activities, insect adventures and wildlife encounters, participants will embark on a thrilling exploration of the world around them. Each day promises exciting experiments, outdoor exploration and engaging activities tailored to each age group. Plus, they will have the chance to connect with fellow nature enthusiasts by sharing what they have learned in the form of show-and-tell.

When: July 9 to July 12
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Circle B Bar Reserve
Who: All youth ages 9 to 12 years old. You do not have to be a 4-H member.
Cost: $105 per youth
Payment: We accept checks, cash or money orders. Please make checks/money orders to Polk County 4-H Association and in the memo write ‘4-H Nature Explorers’ and you can mail or drop it off at the 1702 Hwy, 17 S., Bartow 33830.
