The Wabash Community Center offers free community events. The center is located at 1230 Southern Ave. in Lakeland, and its After-School All-Stars program offers homework help, educational programming and recreational activities for kids in elementary school. The site also offers a program called Blueprint Project. This program provides middle school students with the skills and experiences that will allow them to better compete for educational and employment opportunities.
