The Mary Norma Campbell Resource Center is in Lake Wales, within the Highland Park Manor community. This building was dedicated to the memory of Polk County’s first African-American female deputy sheriff’s officer. This resource center offers GED and ESOL classes. The classes follow the Polk School District calendar and they offer free daycare to students. Mary Norma Campbell Resource Center allows families to use the computers to easily sign up or update their ACCESS accounts. The center also hosts a variety of events and social gatherings for families and adults in addition to mentoring the youth through Afterschool, Spring Break and Summer programming.

Rental Fees

  • $50 for the first four hours
  • $25 for each additional hour
