On June 20, 2000, the Board of County Commissioners approved the establishment of the Eloise Community Redevelopment Agency through the adoption of the Community Redevelopment Plan (Ordinance No. 00-33) and the funding through Ordinance No. 00-34, creating the Agency Trust Fund. On November 8, 2006, the Board adopted Resolution No. 06-176 appointing itself as the Board of Commissioners of the Agency (Eloise CRA Board), and on June 5, 2018, the Board approved Ordinance No. 18-34, which amended the Plan to provide additional strategies for resolving blighting issues.

Qualifications for Advisory Committee Members/How to Apply
The County Commission appoints five members to the committee, each of whom either resides, or is engaged in business, within the area of operation of the community redevelopment area. Appointed members serve three-year terms. Members may be reappointed for up to, but no more than, two additional terms at the discretion of the County Commission. The appointing authority is found in Resolution No. 06-176.
The Eloise CRA Board is made up of the sitting Polk County Board of County Commissioners.
